“I am a student of Agricultural Engineering, Landmark University. My dad passed on three years ago and I thought it was the end of the world but I was left with no other option than to glorify God.
In 2015, I was at home for one academic session. Rather than giving up during that period, I decided to get closer to God. I was led by the Holy Spirit to pray and fast for three days, and I obeyed. In the course of the prayer & fasting, I read the book, Maximize Destiny authored by Bishop Oyedepo.
After I completed it, I caught a vision on agricultural revolution in Africa which is in line with the vision and mission of Landmark University. By the grace of God, I pursued the vision with all I had, hardwork, commitment and believe.
To the glory of God, I established a fish farm and have five employees working for me. I have not just supplied the farm product within Lagos and Ogun state but also exported to a neighbouring country, Benin Republic. The fish farm was able to pay 70% of my school fees at resumption. On Saturday, February 27, 2016, God blessed me with two acres of land for crop production. I give all the glory to God for turning my shame to glory!” —Ben Nwosu
